Reflecting on the energy and creativity shared at the launch of Freedom 25: Poetic Placards & Billboards, Trinity’s contribution to the national Our Freedom: Then & Now programme
Parys Gardener is a multidisciplinary creative and communications specialist who leads Trinity Community Arts’ media, press and storytelling work. With a background as both a visual artist and a theatre communications professional, Parys brings a unique blend of creativity, strategy and sector insight to her role.
Before joining Trinity, she worked in communications within the theatre sector, supporting productions, audience development and community engagement campaigns. This experience helped shape her understanding of how cultural organisations communicate their value and connect meaningfully with the communities they serve.
At Trinity, Parys oversees PR, media relations, digital content, brand storytelling and marketing support across the organisation’s live music, club, heritage and community programmes. She leads on communications for projects including Citizens for Culture, Jacob’s Wells Baths and the Mycelial Network, working closely with staff, artists and external partners to amplify Trinity’s impact and visibility.
