Respond, Empower, Amplify, Protect
Trinity’s vision is for everyone to have the opportunity to access and shape arts and culture because we believe art improves individual well-being, empowers communities and enhances society.
Our mission is to empower communities through arts. We do this through providing a diverse programme of arts, heritage and cultural projects, activities and events delivered in line with our values - Respond, Empower, Amplify, Protect.
Programme Strands
Place-based cultural programming Live performance, festivals and participatory arts rooted in place and working with partner venues and promoters to provide accessible, high-quality cultural experiences for diverse audiences
Children, young people & learning Creative learning, schools outreach and progression pathways delivered through Cultural Alliance and related programmes, supporting children & young people’s creative development, wellbeing and connection to culture
Civic participation & cultural democracy Citizen-led assemblies, co-created cultural strategy and policy influence through programmes such as Citizens for Culture, enabling people to shape decisions about culture and place. Creative methodologies that build citizens’ influence and power through devolved decision-making
Neighbourhoods, communities & inclusion Hyperlocal cultural infrastructure, community partnerships and inclusive programmes that respond to lived experience, support everyday participation and strengthen neighbourhood resilience. Incl free/subsidised hires as well as deep-dive work with key target groups.
Projects are supported by a range of national and local funders, individual donations and income we generate ourselves.
