Teachings in Dub - 55 years of Jah Tubbys

Celebrating the mighty Jah Tubbys Soundsystem

Hailing from North London, they started out in 1971 and by the late 70's were playing all the top sounds gaining a name for themselves. They toured the country extensively and were known for their heavy bass and unruly style. In the 80's they started their own record label and JTS dub cutting studio where DJs from genres across the board came to get dubplates cut onto 10" acetate. JTS also became the supplier of soundsystem equipment, building the renowned JTS preamp and in turn powering sounds around the whole globe. This truly is a foundation soundsystem and we look forward to celebrating 55 years of vibes with them.

Meeting Jah Tubbys will be the legendary Fatman Sound. Needing little introduction as their reputation is renowned within Reggae, they have been involved in soundsystem since the 1960's filling dances with stacks of speakers for decade upon decade playing all their contemporaries throughout the years such as Jah Shaka, Sir Coxsone and many many more. They will be digging deep into the dub basket for this very special occasion.

TID are well aware that the cost of living is out of control right now, so they have made some special cheap ticket tiers for this event to help everyone out and to say thank you for such loyal support of Teachings in Dub over the years. See you in the arena.
