Melanie Manchot’s 'Night Moves’
Step inside Jacobs Wells Baths during Heritage Open Days and explore one of Bristol's most significant heritage buildings as it continues its transformation into a future cultural and community space.
Presented in the historic Pump Room, 'Night Moves' (2026) is a multi-screen video installation by artist and filmmaker Melanie Manchot. Commissioned by the RWA (Royal West of England Academy) with support from Art Fund and the RWA Commissioning Circle, the work brings together Bristol-based dancers, performers and skaters filmed across the city after dark.
Alongside the installation, visitors can join guided tours of Jacobs Wells Baths and discover more about the building's history, restoration and future plans.
