Heritage Open Days Weekend

We’re excited to welcome you to the historic Jacobs Wells Baths!

As part of Heritage Open Day you can join us in the impressive Pump Room, where you can learn about the site’s fascinating history and learn more about future plans.

You can also sign up for one of our small group tours of this amazing Grade II listed former Victorian bathhouse turned iconic dance centre to explore. You’ll get to see this exciting stage of large-scale regeneration, supported by The National Lottery Heritage Fund, as we develop the building into a multi-use community, arts and heritage hub.

Jacobs Wells Baths is currently a working building site, and restoration is still underway. As a result, the floors are uneven, and unfortunately, only the Pump Room will be accessible by wheelchair.

Groups will be closely supervised, with a maximum of 6 people per group. All guests are required to wear hard hats (provided) and will be informed about any trip hazards. Closed-toe shoes are strongly recommended for safety.  This tour is not suitable for children under 12 years old.  There are WCs on site but they are unfortunately not wheelchair accessible at the moment.
