Hailing from Glasgow, Tom McGuire & the Brassholes bring together funk, soul and pop with rich arrangements, infectious grooves and a sharp sense of songcraft.
The band began busking on the streets of Glasgow before building a following with their viral debut single Ric Flair. Since then, they’ve released two albums, toured extensively across the UK and Europe, and become regulars on the festival circuit, sharing stages with the likes of Craig Charles and George Clinton.
Their second album, Stay Rad, marked another milestone, selling out the band’s debut show at Glasgow’s legendary Barrowland Ballroom. Blending soulful songwriting with tight musicianship and dancefloor-ready funk, Tom McGuire & the Brassholes bring songs about the ups and downs of everyday life to the stage, with plenty to move to.

Venue levy: Trinity has introduced a £1 Restoration Levy on every event ticket sold. This income will be used to create a dedicated fund for critical building works that will protect and maintain the Trinity Centre building and grounds.
