I Danced at Jacob's Wells
How important was/is dance to your life, wellbeing or career?
As part of the restoration of Jacobs Wells Baths as a community and arts hub we at Trinity would love to understand its role for the dance community.
Whether classical or contemporary, African or Bollywood, Bristol Community Dance Centre was a home for myriad dance styles.
As part of the heritage programme, we would like to invite you to an informal reminiscence session to share memories of dance at Jacob's Wells.
Refreshments will be available.
Let us know if you are coming in advance by reserving your place (website)
This session will be British Sign Language (BSL) interpreted.
If you have any questions or access requirements, please email Jude jude@trinitybristol.org.uk
Jacobs Wells Baths Archive
Do you have photos, documents, posters, flyers of your events at Bristol Community Dance Centre? Would you share them with us at Trinity for the Jacobs Wells Baths archive?
We are asking former users of the centre to support the development of an archive that celebrates Jacob Wells heritage, including its dance activities. We can scan, copy, or return your items if you would prefer not to donate them.
Come along to Trinity on Wednesday 13th August 18:30 – 21:00 if you would like to share your memories with us, or alternatively, contact info@trinitybristol.org.uk to arrange a time to meet with Edson Burton.
