- Promoted the arts through achieving Key Arts Provider status from Bristol City Council and delivering a programme of live music events that has received coverage in NME and The Independent on Sunday
- Increased our annual footfall from 15,000 in 2009 to over 25,000 in 2011, through provision of activities and improvements to space
- Brought the community together in positive cultural interaction through our annual fireworks and garden parties, attracting a combined attendance of over 2,500 people in 2011
- Developed a range of community activities in partnership with local groups to help people feel less isolated and able to participate within their community: “We currently run a weekly elderly support group at the Trinity Centre so the repair will also be of benefit to use as without this resource we will have nowhere to go” Awaz Utaoh, Asian Women's Group
- Provided facilities to support social welfare through the development of the Trinity Community Initiative – a subsidised hall-hire scheme, providing free/low cost facilities for community activities that help us to reach more communities:“Versatility is its [The Trinity Centre] strength. - Promoted equality of opportunity through building partnerships with community groups to develop activities that reach specific communities - activities such as Tea Dances for older people, in partnership with Link Age, IT drop-in sessions in partnership with Bristol Refugee Rights and Rhythm of the Night parties for adults with learning difficulties, in partnership with The Misfits
- Provided opportunities to build community cohesion through the delivery of community participation projects: “The children brought a deeper understanding to me. I see why they came to this country – for their own safety. I understood why, if I was in their situation, I would do the same thing as them.” Participant, Project Respect
- Received praise from The National Youth Agency, VOSCUR and Teachers TV for delivering projects that encourage cross-cultural and inter-generational activity
