Andrew McMillan's poetry is collected in two pamphlet collections, Every Salt Advance (2009) and The Moon is a Supporting Player (2011); a selection of his poetry can also be found in The Salt Book of Younger Poets which showcases the writers who will "dominate UK poetry in years to come". He has been poet-in-residence for Basingstoke, for the LGBT community of Bournemouth and Poole and for the Watershed Landscape Project. His commission for IMove, the Yorkshire Cultural Olympiad, was featured on Radio 4's Today programme.
Andrew’s workshop methods use a wide array of proven techniques to stimulate and enthuse participants to share and record stories in a variety of written and spoken forms.
