Our three funding rounds per year support a broad range of arts, community and social welfare projects in England and Wales, with a particular interest in supporting rural communities in Wales. Find out more about our funding criteria, and read examples of the impact our support is having.
Building on the legacy left by Bernard and Laura Ashley and the global business they developed, the Ashley Family Foundation invests in projects that will boost community and support the creative arts, particularly in rural areas.
We supported the Creative Dimension Trust to provide a series of textiles workshops for talented 14-18 year olds who love working with their hands.
Pathways to Farming is working to increase the number of horticultural food producers in North Powys, helping to develop new markets for local produce.
The Ashley Family Foundation funds an annual scholarship for a Design and Performance student at the college, as well as granting funding towards three public productions and the graduating students’ exhibition, Balance.
Applications close on the 31st of March for our July 2024 funding round. Please read our ‘what we fund’ section carefully before applying, and then use the online form to apply. Find out more about how to apply.
