Bristol Samba is a community band that welcomes new and experienced drummers and dancers from all backgrounds and abilities. They hold regular weekly sessions and occasional workshops throughout the year. Even if you've never drummed or dance before, come and give it a try.

Samba Drumming
If you are interested in joining the drumming band please email here. Samba Drumming is from 6pm - 10pm in the Main Hall.

Samba Dancing:
The dance classes are aimed towards performance, but you don't have to be a performer to take part - you can join us for the fun and the exercise. Learn samba reggae, ijexa (afoxe) and samba carnival style.

7.30 - 8.30pm Dance Beginners
8.45 - 10.00pm Dance Improvers

Next-Gen Sounds

Next-Gen Sounds is a series of free, weekly drop-in music sessions for young people aged 14-25, every Thursday from 4:00pm until 6:00pm

These workshops offer young people a chance gain knowledge and skills from our expert tutors in Trinity’s fully-equipped rehearsal room and production studios, and the large break out space with lyric writing.

The sessions are be student-led, meaning that young people will be able to shape each session, whether that be learning to play instruments, music production, performing live, or anything in-between.

Trinity’s in-house music tutors Pete and Amos will be on hand to offer support and guidance to students during the sessions.

Students will learn together as a group, offering a chance to work collaboratively and meet other young people.
