This project gives you an opportunity to create, learn and collaborate with prominent Bristol artists/activists using the arts to address social issues. Successful programme completion offers the opportunity to get your work shown on BBC!
The 3 project phases are as follows:
Phase 1: ‘Hacking the Past' 21st April till 12th May
Learning from the past to understand current social movements. Meet Bristol Activists & Artists and explore creative outputs.
Phase 2: ‘Creative Expression’ 19th May till 16th June
Mentorship and creative collaboration with influential Black activists and artists.
Phase 3: ‘Activation' 15th September till mid-November
Learning new creative skills in masterclasses and showcasing what you've learned.
