In his musical journey spanning from being a sideman to Charles Mingus, Max Roach, Miles Davis and Art Blakey, to a solo career marking him as the luminary of the fusion movement of the 70s, Gary Bartz recorded impactful albums such as Another Earth, which took inspirations from John Coltrane's iconic A Love Supreme.

After celebrating the 50th anniversary of this iconic release in New York at the beginning of this year, Gary Bartz comes to Bristol accompanied by UK's leading spiritual jazz outfit Maisha's musicians, led by Jake Long.
