Learning to Swim on an Ironing Board

Free Live theatre 'Zoomed' straight to your home

Real life for Conor A means being indoors too much with fibromyalgia, an illness with too many syllables to be anything other than really rubbish.

Join us for this free show, performed live from Conor’s Living room, about therapeutic eavesdropping in shopping centres and getting better at not getting better (because as a narrative device fibromyalgia is pants. Yes, there’s lots of dramatic pain and ennui-inducing fatigue, but there’s no real back story, no concrete arc and no triumphant conclusion. And, anyway, disabled spoken word artist Conor A wanted to tell a different story.)

Conor (along with his therapist Terry) take us through this hour long funny, explosive, accessible and just-a little-bit-odd-show and and how it helped Conor change how he relates to the world.

“Messy, but charmingly so."
The Guardian
