Test Audience

More info on how to take part as a test audience

From time to time, our resident artists need to test work in development in front of a live audience. If you would like to be contacted about upcoming sharings, please email your name and contact details to Roseanna Dias.

What to expect:

A 'work-in-progress' or 'scratch' performance is when an artist shares a bit of what they've been working on with audiences and other artists. They may have scripts in hand, or work from notes. They may or may not use props, costumes or stage lighting. They may address the audience directly or ask questions.

There may also be a question and answer session, or they may ask audience members to complete a feedback form.

What's The Point:

Sharings like this help artists test ideas early on in the making process. By giving them feedback, you'll help them ensure that the finished work achieves what the artist intends.
