The Trinity Centre Conservation Project and the Notes for Notes Fundraising Appeal

Public Meeting - Wednesday 17th August 6pm, Graffiti Room

We would like to invite all the community groups and individuals that regularly use the Trinity Centre, to attend a short meeting to learn more about the Trinity Conservation project and the Notes for Notes Fundraising Appeal that will support the essential conservation works required to building.

The Trinity Centre is a prominent heritage landmark in Bristol's Old Market Quarter, that has a long-standing history of community engagement. This year we are celebrating 40 years of music at the venue which, over the last four decades has become a prominent music venue and community arts hub.

The building was placed on the English Heritage Building At Risk Register in 2011 as urgent repair works where needed to the South aisle roof. Since then, the building has gone trough a series of vital renovation and conservation schemes to protect the historic fabric and improve access to quality space for the community, removing it from the "At Risk" Register in 2014. It is vital that additional conservation and repair works are carried out in 2017 to prevent the Trinity Centre falling back in the "At Risk" Register in the future.

The 2016-17 Trinity Centre Conservation Project includes essential repairs to the lead roof on the North aisle, extensive renovations to the stained glass windows and the Bath stonework on the towers and external walls.

Showcasing the best in mid century clothing, jewellery and much more!

Mid Century Market

The Bristol Mid Century Market returns to the Fyfe hall at Trinity Centre (upstairs for one event only!)

The UK's leading 1950s vintage fair, the Mid Century Market is returning for a day of mid century vintage shopping. This Autumn, the Mid Century Market is open to rockabilly lovers and vintage fashionistas bringing with it the best vintage and reproduction clothing, atomic homeware, glittering jewellery and much more, all inspired by that glamorous period of the 1950s.

Bettina Scarlett takes pride in having only but the finest vintage sellers and 1950s inspired brands from around the UK and when customers come down, they will already know what they want to buy, why? Because at the Mid Century Market, you don’t have to spend hours hunting high and low for something that may catch your eye but for an extortionate price, you will be blown away by the array of beauties that await you when you walk in the door.

With shoppers in the past coming from all over Europe to hunt for bargains, Bristol is in for a treat this summer because what makes the market distinctive from any other vintage fairs within the UK is the friendly and sociable atmosphere it brings. Not in a rush? Why not sit back and relax with friends and enjoy the atmosphere and listen to DJ’s hark back to that era of rockabilly and good ole rock n roll, the Mid Century Market isn’t just a vintage fair, it’s a gathering of friends who share the same passion for vintage and everything from the Hollywood era of Elvis and Audrey Hepburn. So what’s stopping you?
