Murmuration Choir - SOLD OUT

Immersive, surround-sound choral journey

Murmuration Choir will share a 1 hour mid-winter sound bath concert, directed by vocal yoga teacher Isolde Lachlan, with live gong from music therapist Sula Deane.

This is an opportunity to take a break from the holiday chaos and immerse yourself in the healing sound of vocal harmony, poetry and guided meditation, interwoven with soundscapes, asmr, theruptic instruments, and re-imagined contemporary choral pieces that explore belonging, love, nature connection, rest and dreaming.

You do not need to do anything but lie down on a yoga mat and be physically surrounded by a warm cocoon of 70 voices, with ambient projections from Gavin Brokis.

Participants will be led through gentle, accessible movements to allow you to settle fully in and out of relaxation, and there will be the opportunity to join us in simple sound making to reawaken you back into a refreshed state, ready to face the demands of the holiday season.

What to Bring: This is a lying-down event. Wear something comfortable, and bring extra layers + softness to keep you warm and cosy. Yoga mats are provided, but please feel free to bring an additional mat for extra comfort.

What is a ‘sound bath’?A ‘sound bath’ is a term used in the world of sound healing to describe the experience of being surrounded by beautiful, calming, therapeutic sounds, usually with the recipient lying down and passively receiving. The specific intention from the sound practitioner is to encourage relaxation in the recipient’s nervous system, and to generate release from physical, mental and emotional tension in the body, which promotes healthy cell rejuvenation and a sense of increased wellbeing.

3 x Sound Bath Timings: Sound Bath 1: 5.30 - 6.30 pm * Sound Bath 2: 7 - 8 pm * Sound Bath 3 - 8.30 - 9.30 pm
You can find out more about the choir via our website (murmurationchoir.co.uk) and / or follow us on instagram or facebook @murmurchoir.

N.B.: We are not able to admit attendees arriving after the start time. Please arrive 15 minutes before your time, and leave 15 minutes after.

This event will be photographed, and by taking part you are agreeing to having your image used, for our sound bath promotion purposes only.
Children are welcome to attend if accompanied by an adult, and able to remain quiet / still for the duration.

Putting on a dry January rave because we know that the sober community loves to party, and who doesn't want an excuse to warm up and release some dopamine in one of the darkest months of the year?

We are over the moon to have Jumpin' Jack Frost joining us on the decks for the first time.

Bit by the music bug at a tender age, South Londoner Jumpin' Jack Frost hit the DJ circuit at 18, mixing funk, hip hop and original breakbeats and diving into the acid house circuit via the Carwash nights in the late 80s DJ’s were Grooverider, Bryan gee, Fabio, Frost and Pete Stewart. When the rave scene exploded Frost was at its forefront, enjoying the freedom of going with the flow and mixing drastically different styles of music to suit the mood of the moment.

More to be announced

Our events are for everyone and anyone who wants to come to the night . You don't have to sober 24/7, just for this night. We are about focussing on the music and normalising sober night life.
www.soberspaces.co.uk

Larry Fleet is an American country music singer-songwriter from Tennessee.

He grew up in a stack of records that spun everything from Merle Haggard and Willie Nelson to Otis Redding and Marvin Gaye. That mix shaped a sound rooted in country storytelling but unafraid to reach beyond its borders. A thoughtful songwriter with a knack for sharp one-liners, sturdy hooks, and a powerhouse voice that cuts straight to the truth, Fleet was working blue-collar jobs long before ever landing a record deal. Fleet is doing things his own way, touring globally, connecting with fans, and staying true to where he's from while taking country music somewhere new.

The Sheepdogs are Canada’s leaders in rock ’n’ roll entertainment.

Four-time JUNO Award winners from Saskatoon, with multiple Gold and Platinum records to their name, they blend killer harmonies, dual-guitar wizardry, and a stage presence that turns audiences into true believers.

The Sheepdogs deliver the real goods: rock music that’s loud, loose, and full of soul. They’ve taken their unmistakable sound from bars and roadhouses to festival fields and arenas around the world, earning a well-deserved reputation as one of the most electrifying live bands today.
With 13 releases — including the recent companion EPs Paradise Alone and Hell Together — the band continues to prove that the spirit of classic rock will never die. Now, thanks to their own label, Right On Records, they are masters of their own destiny. Their new single, “Nobody But You,” is the first taste of new music to come and proof that The Sheepdogs are charging full steam ahead into 2026 and beyond.

Thank you to everyone who has stood alongside us — your support continues to be the foundation of our success.

This year’s Annual Report offers a powerful reflection on how far we’ve come. Building on the foundations laid in 2023/24, we’ve not only sustained a vibrant, inclusive cultural programme but also deepened our roots across the city - reaching new audiences, developing stronger partnerships, and affirming our role as a civic hub.

Over the year, we welcomed 70,998 visitors through our doors - taking part in everything from grassroots gigs to family-friendly festivals. The successful delivery of our Children & Young People’s Programme, including the launch of a two-year Cultural Alliance strategic partnership with three local primary schools.

We delivered an expanded offer of free and low-cost community activities reaching communities and neighbourhoods in our immediate catchment area.
Many will be familar with Trinity as a live venue and our audiences of over 40,000 attendees took part in a diverse cultural offer of over 1,400 events featuring 326 artists across multiple artforms and disciplines.

Beyond our walls, we also strengthened commitment to equity by playing a strategic role in the West of England Combined Authority's first Citizens’ Assembly, to shape a citizen-led cultural delivery plan for the region.

Notably we also progressed in our efforts to restore Jacobs Wells Baths - undertaking the first steps to transform it into a much-needed civic arts space for Bristol and the wider region.

I’m especially proud of how the Trinity team has continued to lead with integrity and creativity. Their willingness to adapt, experiment, and work collaboratively has ensured our work remains relevant, responsive, and impactful.

As we look ahead, we do so with renewed focus. We know the challenges our communities face, but we also recognise the role creativity plays in shaping a more hopeful, connected future.
