For girls aged 10–18

Girls only session led by experienced female youth workers (anyone who identifies as a girl)

Sign up form will need to be completed upon first session

Delivered by Bristol Horn Youth Concern & Trinity Community Arts through the Love Stapleton Road Young People Programme

This is a safe, welcoming and supportive space where young girls can make new friends, build confidence, discuss issues you want to learn about, and take part in fun activities and speak openly in a positive environment. You will have an input with who you would like to come to sessions also.

We would love to see young people from across Bristol join us every week. Please come along and share this with families, schools, youth groups and the wider community to help us spread the word.

]]> No publisher jamell class community 2026-05-19T12:30:00Z Event Bristol Samba https://www.trinitybristol.org.uk/whats-on/workshops-classes/bristol-samba Mondays 6pm-10pm - samba drumming and dancing Bristol Samba is a community band that welcomes new and experienced drummers and dancers from all backgrounds and abilities. They hold regular weekly sessions and occasional workshops throughout the year. Even if you've never drummed or dance before, come and give it a try.

Samba Drumming
If you are interested in joining the drumming band please email here. Samba Drumming is from 6pm - 10pm in the Main Hall.

Samba Dancing:
The dance classes are aimed towards performance, but you don't have to be a performer to take part - you can join us for the fun and the exercise. Learn samba reggae, ijexa (afoxe) and samba carnival style.

7.30 - 8.30pm Dance Beginners
8.45 - 10.00pm Dance Improvers
