Waldo’s Gift is the result of three like-minded musicians that have been given the time and space to go towards true sonic representation of themselves. Their sound hurtles from the sophistication of Jazz, through to the most cutting edge experimental electronic music – all with the unhinged energy of the most powerful rock and metal. They are quickly establishing themselves as one of the most exciting new jazz acts in the UK today. Their debut studio EPs, recorded and released during the pandemic, gained wide support from tastemakers across BBC Radio 1 and 6Music, while their lockdown live sessions racked up big numbers online, both of which have earned them a fervent following internationally. After a string of one off shows, Waldo’s Gift return to their live roots and finally embark on their debut headline tour in early 2024, promising a wealth of new music alongside established tracks from their first 2 EPs. All designed to be experienced live.
+ support: Bethany Ley & Moral Fibre will be joining forces to bring together a mixture of songs, and improvised electronics for an exclusive one-off performance.

]]>After the momentous release of Ali, a collaborative album with indie-darlings-turned-global-powerhouse Khruangbin, Vieux Farka Touré’s star power is spreading far and wide.
Regarded as “the Hendrix of the Sahara”, Touré’s limelight has now widened beyond the World Music stage. Although always inspired and propelled by the far-reaching legacy of his late-father Ali Farka Toure and the Songhai music of northern Mali, Touré’s music has found a distinctive voice of its own. Blending traditional melodies and rhythms with soft touches of hypnotic psychedelia, his music riveting in all its twists and turns.
+ Support: Suntou Susso is a multi-instrumentalist: kora player, percussionist, singer and composer from The Gambia. Griots have a unique societal role as oral historians, transmitting and preserving a people's culture through the generations in song, music and poetry.

Combining the impossible vocal melodies of Irish front woman Ríoghnach Connolly, with dirty blues grooves, Ethio-sax, elevated flute, heavy beats, and killer on-stage charisma, Honeyfeet can wow any crowd. The level of downright musical attitude on that stage is more than enough to get any party bouncing.
