“Every now and then a vocalist comes along and blows you away, Frances is that vocalist.” - i-D

Following on the announcement that her debut album, ‘Things I’ve Never Said’, will be released this March 17th, Berkshire-born songwriter and multi award-nominated vocalist Frances announces her biggest European tour to date this Spring, including a very special homecoming show at London’s Shepherds Bush Empire.

From delivering knockout performances at this year’s Glastonbury, Coachella, Latitude, Dockville and and Lollapalooza festivals to playing to a sold out crowd for her headline show at KOKO in May, Frances has been honing her powerful, yet intimate live shows to crowds across the globe. Now, to celebrate the announcement of her hotly-anticipated debut album, Britain's next big star returns for a string of special dates throughout the UK and Europe.

Collaborating with the likes of Greg Kurstin (Adele), Jimmy Napes (Sam Smith, Alicia Keys) and Howard Lawrence (Disclosure), ‘Things I’ve Never Said’ is a deeply personal, emotive collection tracking the last 2 years of Frances’ story. From touchingly-honest ballads like ‘Let It Out’ and ‘Cry Like Me’ to classic, upbeat pop production on ‘Say It Again’, the album represents the impressive range of the young artist. A range you can clearly see in her upcoming single ‘Grow’, a track that launched her career and gained Frances the ears of both the public and the industry. A new mix of the single will be available to buy and stream from January 2017.

A sublimely talented live performer, Frances recently performed her new single ‘Don’t Worry About Me’ as part of Channel 4’s Stand Up To Cancer fundraiser this October. ‘Grow’ will also be included on the soundtrack to upcoming feature film ‘Mum’s List’, a film by Niall Johnson starring Rafe Spall and Emilia Fox which opens in UK cinemas nationwide on 25th Nov, 2016. Released on both Deluxe and Standard formats, the album will be available to buy and stream from the 17th of March.

MOULETTES are an English eclectic Art Rock band that combines elements of Rock, Prog, Folk and Pop. Their charismatic, idiosyncratic yet poppy brand of progressive, psychedelic neo-classical folk rock has enthralled crowds at many festivals as varied as Bestival, Glastonbury, End of the Road and Cropredy.

About Uchenna Dance

The Company

Uchenna Dance is based in London, UK. It was formed in January 2009 under the vision and leadership of Vicki Igbokwe, shortly after she experienced a life-changing trip to New York during the summer of 2008. It was a Wednesday evening and Vicki had just finished taking a house dance class at Peridance Studios and had been told about a club called Sin Sin, that had a house night called Soulgasam. It hit her that this dance she was falling in love with, house dance, was much more than just a style of dance, it was a culture, a way of life. The DJ was spinning some tunes and the dancers were killing it…

The Uchenna dance style fuses Waacking, Vogue and House with traditional African and Contemporary, creating a signatory aesthetic that simply is, Uchenna.

Uchenna (pronounced OO-CHENNA) offers a unique and contemporary addition to the UK dance scene.

Since its inception, Uchenna Dance has grown from an informal explorative company to a tour de force within the dance sector.

The company’s overarching aim is to Empower, Entertain and Educate through dance in a diverse programme that includes the production of dance theatre production experiences, coaching, dance based empowerment workshops and teaching in further and higher education.

Joyously jugular-grabbing acoustic dance music from this Anglo-French five-piece

+ Cliff Stapleton

The new Anglo-French acoustic dance band Topette!! is one such…a collective of uninhibited musical adventurers playing self-penned and traditional music from anywhere with a winning mix of bonhomie and grit.

Of course it helps that those musicians are some of the finest on the Anglo-French dance scene…

Andy Cutting (diatonic button accordion)
James Delarre (violin)
Julien Cartonnet (bagpipes, banjo)
Tania Buisse (bodhrán)
Barnaby Stradling (acoustic bass guitar)

Born out of friendship, the five-piece play naturally social music – for filling dancefloors, for listening, for drinking with friends – but don’t expect it to merge into the background. This is raunchy, up-all-night, joyously jugular-grabbing dance music.

Driven by the rhythmic boiler-room of Stradling’s gnarly bass, Buisse’s intuitive bodhrán playing and Cutting’s warm bottom end, the melodies burst out of the seams of this bedrock. With great big anthemic walls of sound, the vibe is ‘Party!’: Cartonnet’s glowing French piping and visceral tenor banjo, Delarre’s bright, bushy-tailed fiddle lines and Cutting’s dynamic accordion style. They are, quite literally, having a bal!

The new 7-track EP Chez Michel – the name of the bar in France where the band was born – features an eclectic selection of material. Recorded in France earlier this year, it opens with an unexpectedly uplifting trad. French dance tune Bourée Morvandelle and Cartonnet’s own La Lustrée. but then careers off via a gloriously plunky version of Ola Bäckström’s Meatballs, Whiskey And Beer, a traditional Gnawa tune Hamouda and, underpinned by some seriously dirty bass, the ecstatic swirling trad. tune Maybe Macedonian?

Join in the party! Topette!
