Cutting edge underground sounds

Livity Sound are back at the historic Trinity Centre in Bristol for another huge VOID sound powered party. We've invited some of our favourite djs for an unmissable all night session of the finest in underground dance music, Livity Sound style.

We're very excited welcome back Peach whose meteoric rise has gained her fans across the globe. A bio that simply reads “Ball of Energy “ perfectly encapsulates the Peach vibe, expect vital house and techno full of zeal from across the spectrum.

We also welcome back London's Parris, who is currently on a stellar ascent following an amazing run of music from the 'Terrapin' ep on Wisdom Teeth to the 'Polychrome Swim' EP on Trilogy Tapes. He also recently started a label with Call Super called 'Can You Feel the Sun'. Not only a top drawer producer, Parris is also one of the most exciting and versatile DJs around and we’re very excited to hear what he brings on the night.

Al Wootton is certainly a Livity Sound favourite and recently released the acclaimed 'Snake Dance' EP on the label. The Trule records boss has made a huge impact on the UK scene with releases on Trule including the incredible 'Witness' album last year. Drawing on dark UK Garage and Two Step influences alongside a heavy dose of dub production techniques, Al is without a doubt one of the UK's finest.

Finally, we're lucky enough to have Bristol's own Robin Stewart (from Giant Swan) warming up the night for us. A legend in his own right within the Bristol scene Robin will be digging deep in his personal collection, bringing his incredible music knowledge for the early crew. We can’t think of a better person to be warming up the room.See you in the dance!

Playing on the night :

Leon Vynehall has been ever evolving, releasing albums over the years including Music for the Uninvited, Nothing Is Still and most recently, Rare, Forever. The artistic curation of Leon Vynehall’s work is truly incredible, and he is really one of the best to do it. As suited to home listening as he is a dark club, we could not be more ecstatic to have this show and to welcome Leon to Bristol.

London based NTS resident and all round top selector re:ni joins the line-up after having an incredible few years building her reputation as one of the finest around. After a killer Dekmantel Boiler Room with Darwin, regular shows across Europe, and her steady radio appearances, it’s no surprise that re:ni has heavy support from some of the scene’s biggest artists, promoters and clubs.

Age-old thrills of rock with a forward-thinking approach

Gang of Youths were formed in Sydney in 2011 by Le'aupepe and some like-minded mates. Within months of their first gig, they attracted a rabid fanbase, enraptured by their expansive, widescreen take on indie-rock - the sort of black magic music that manages to feel universal and personal at the same time.
The group have had a complete artistic overhaul during 2020, with their new music fusing their knack of soaring melodies, indelible hooks, and dynamic rock uplifts with a love of neoclassical, minimalist composers, and experimental sampling.
