Move Dance Feel brings women together to dance, instead of talk about their cancer experience.

This free 2 hours taster session offers you the opportunity to meet the artists behind the project, connect with other women affected by cancer, and learn about the different ways that dance can support your health and wellbeing. The project has been running in London for 4 years, and in January launched in Bristol in partnership with Penny Brohn UK.

As part of this development we are running a series of sessions in different community spaces to offer local women a fun, social and creative experience - to help you either during or after cancer treatment.

These taster sessions are open to women only, over the age of 18 with any type of cancer and at any stage in your cancer experience – newly diagnosed, undergoing treatment and post treatment. If you have recently had surgery, we recommend being at least three months post-operative before taking part. If you wish to attend but are very ill or need a lot of physical support, we ask that you please bring a female friend or family member to support you one on one. Please wear comfortable clothing that you can move easily in.

This workshop is free but please book online using the ticket link on the left. If you cannot book online please call Trinity on the number listed.

Please note that women supporting someone with cancer are also welcome to attend.

Seductive yet heavy-hitting techno from ANNA

We welcome Apex to Trinity for the first time, bringing talented Brazilian-born artist ANNA

Line up:
ANNA [2 hour set]
edetto
Ian Apex
Dani Whylie
Michael Demelo

THE last 18 months have seen the talented Brazilian-born artist ANNA reach new heights with productions such as ‘Hidden Beauties’ and her powerful remix of Jon Hopkins ‘Singularity’, garnering acclaim from every corner of the industry, and achieving large streaming numbers on Spotify. New music from ANNA has been huge in festival sets for many world-leading techno DJs all summer. Then there was the richly deserved Essential Mix for the BBC that started 2019 off right, as the Brazilian distilled 20 years of DJing experience into an inspiring two-hour techno masterclass. DJ Mag rightly recognised her talents, putting her on the cover of their North American edition in February, a nod to the breakaway impact she’s had on that region.

Today’s success has been two decades in the making, stretching back to the nightclub her father owned in the countryside outside São Paulo, where she honed her craft as a DJ from the age of 14. Her journey since then has been marked by passion, hard work and unrelenting dedication to her craft. You can see this when she plays – a skilled and accomplished selector, her performances are energetic, engaging and captivating. Gigs at the legendary Warung, D-Edge and Time Warp Brazil in her home country are the stuff of legends, while globally she’s in ever-increasing demand playing everywhere from Movement Detroit, Awakenings, Tomorrowland, DC10 and Block in Tel Aviv. For an insight into her talents, you only need to check her vinyl DJ set for Cercle from last February, that’s already hit well over two million views. No surprise Mixmag heralded her as one of the best DJs of 2018 in their yearly wrap-up.

On the production front, she’s dropped critically acclaimed music on virtually every significant label in techno, including Hotflush, Drumcode, Novamute, Clash Lion, Sapiens, Domino with her Jon Hopkins remix, plus a new original for Tale of Us on Afterlife. Her relationship with Kompakt continues to reap fruits. Following on from the success of ‘Hidden Beauties’ that was acclaimed by Pitchfork and judged one of 2018’s Top Tracks by Mixmag, she released the stirring ‘Remembrance’ EP, highlighted by ‘When I Am Only A Dream’. In August this year, she released a very special collaboration with Kittin titled ‘Forever Ravers’ – which is already being heralded as ‘techno track of the year’ by a number of media platforms and certainly an anthem for our times.

The Church of Love is celebrating its FOURTH BIRTHDAY. What better way to celebrate it than with two wicked parties in two of the best cities on the planet - London and Bristol!

For the Bristol date the congregation will be returning to the Trinity for another biblical bash featuring some of Church Of Love's all time favourite acts...

Oh My God! It's The Church (DJ Set)
If you haven’t heard of Oh My God! It’s The Church then you’re in for a treat. A church service like no other - they are one of the most fun live acts on the UK festival circuit. Catch them playing a rare DJ set at the Church of Love, it’s quite literally a match made in heaven!

Hippo Sound System
DJ Hiphoppapotamus’ live band “Hippo Sound System” is another of the best live acts in the scene right now. Featuring a menagerie of talented musicians that bring the Hippos tropical flavoured riddims to life, Hippo Sound System always bring the sunshine to the dance floor.

Father Funk
The Church of Love’s own Father Funk has his own special recipe for rocking the party. Big bass lines, more exclusive remixes than you can shake a stick at, and a wealth of different flavours of fun and funky bass music, from Bass House to Drum & Bass.

X-Ray Ted
Red Bull 3Style finalist, Bristol boy and Church of Love resident X-Ray Ted is another one of our favourite party starters! He just got through to the finals of Red Bull 3Style AND recently supported Fatboy Slim (on a boat no less). His DJ sets include some slick turntablism, next level combos and plenty of original productions.

Mr Stabalina
If there was ever a time to use the phrase “one to watch” - it’s when referring to Mr Stabalina. Although he is relatively new to the scene Mr Stabalina is already absolutely smashing it. Expect some ridiculous mashups, a stupid amount of samples, and a extremely large helping of funk.

Bear Twists b2b MBB
Two of Bristols finest Bear Twists and Mista Bare Breeze team up for a b2b for the history books!
